We are pleased to welcome Damiano Formiconi to the newly created position for Proel's Axiom brand of professional loudspeakers, with responsibility for direct sales and customer support in the Italian market.

Starting in the field of professional audio in 1995, Damiano began to learn his craft as a technician for NEXO's and HK Audio's Italian distributor. He was closely involved in the launch of the NEXO Alpha system of modular arrayable loudspeakers in Italy, organising demonstrations, designing system configuration solutions, and providing technical support for end users.

In 2006 he became technical support engineer at Peavey Italia, where his previous experience in problem solving solutions for live events and fixed installations enabled him to take responsibility for all Peavey-branded audio products. Later he was promoted to Peavey's Installation Division, becoming skilled in the company's Media Matrix digital audio distribution and networking systems, as well as Crest Audio amplifiers.

"This new position is a key component in the creation of autonomous business units within the company, aimed at providing specialised support for the network of Axiom customers in the Italian market," said marketing director Fulvio Pesenti. "We are confident that Damiano's extensive knowledge of loudspeakers and considerable experience in professional audio will make him a valued part of the team."
