A new Axiom sound system has recently been installed at Hyelam Hall, the main auditorium of Wonju University in Gangneung, South Korea.

The venue, which hosts a wide range of academic and cultural events, required a professional audio solution capable of delivering clarity, uniform coverage, and dynamic sound performance.

Installed System

• 2 x SW18A subwoofers
• 12 x AX800A compact line array modules

This configuration offers a perfect balance between power and precision, ensuring high-quality sound reinforcement across the entire hall.

The AX800A, a lightweight and versatile 2-way line array element, is known for its excellent intelligibility and smooth horizontal coverage — qualities that make it ideal for both speech and music in fixed installations. Paired with the SW18A high-output subwoofers, the system delivers controlled low-frequency response and impact without compromising clarity.

The installation was carried out with the support of our long-standing partner Proel Korea, who managed the project and provided on-site technical assistance, from system design to final tuning.

Thanks to this collaboration, Hyelam Hall is now equipped with a modern, scalable audio system that reflects Axiom’s commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for education and cultural spaces.
