Proel's Axiom professional loudspeaker brand has arrived in India with the participation at the PALM Expo India at the end of May and a product seminar organised by exclusive distributor Trimac Products Private Ltd. Considered to be India's foremost internationally renowned exposition for the pro audio, lighting, live sound, install sound, and musical instruments markets, this year's event not only marked the first year that Trimac has handled Axiom exclusively but also celebrated Proel's 25th year in manufacturing.
On the evening of May 26th after the first day of the exhibition, the seminar was held in Mumbai's Westin Hotel for around 140 attendees from all walks of professional audio – sound engineers, rental companies, integrators, and dealers. Area sales manager Hasna Nahdi briefed the group on the current state of the Proel group of companies, describing the investments and future challenges that the company will welcome in its next 25 years, as well as the impending arrival of the new Axiom AX800A compact line array and other new products to be added to the Axiom range.
Proel's international sales support engineer Daniele Massaccesi then introduced the acoustics innovations and technical features designed into Axiom products, and explained how the Axiom brand team is able to assist in project design through the use of advanced software simulations.
Trimac's director Ravi Agarwal said that he was proud to add the Axiom loudspeaker brand to the Trimac product portfolio, and emphasised that all their efforts and activities will be focused on building up the brand's awareness throughout India. "We are very excited to distribute Axiom in India as it is clear that people were very impressed with the sound quality of the products," he commented, "particularly the CX15A powered stage monitor which is extraordinarily powerful for its modest size."
