Proel exhibited products from its Axiom professional loudspeaker brand at PLASA Focus in the Royal Armouries in Leeds on May 9th and 10th. As part of a trade show formula that PLASA describes as a 'perfect fit', the regional exhibition provided opportunities to meet new clients and build relationships with existing customers. Centre stage on stand R-A14 was the AX12C, Axiom's new column array loudspeaker featuring 12 3.5-inch cone transducers designed for corporate audio-visual and fixed installation applications, together with the matching SW2100A subwoofer which includes a two-channel Class D amplifier to power up to four external AX12C modules as well as its internal 21-inch drive unit. The AX800A, a dual 8-inch compact powered line array with Class D amplifier and DSP, was also on display, as was the very compact CX15A coaxial powered stage monitor. A selection of microphone and ceiling speaker products from Proel's Stage Equipment catalogue were also exhibited.

"We've had a fantastic response at PLASA Focus this year," says UK Brand Manager Richard Powell, "and as well as receiving serious interest in the new AX12C column array, we've been promoting opportunities for Axiom product demonstrations later in the year around the UK."

Proel's Export Sales Engineer Daniele Massaccesi hosted a seminar session in the Wellington Room entitled 'Transmission Line Back Loading and Flown Subwoofers', and explained how these technologies benefit the products in Axiom's professional loudspeaker line-up.
